With the start of (remembering) Operation Market Garden in september 2026, also starts a new season for the Dutch WW2 memorial station PH82LIB. The first operation will be from 4 - 6 september from a fieldstation in Groesbeek, landingsite of the 82 Airborn in september 1944. Almost every saturday in september and oktober PH82LIB will air from a historical location, WW2 museum Liberating Wings in Best or het Museum in Altena. During on site activation the team uses Phone and CW as there main mode. The airtimes on saterdays are mostly from 09.00 - 15.00 UTC. Before 'activating' a location the team gathers information on the events that took place. The activation for Baggy Maggy in Castelre for instance will be a special one, due to the high level of involvement of the local population who maintain the monument at the crashsite. Currently the team is looking into setting up an awardprogram. The activationschedule for the nexta 2 months is full, but if you have ideas on locations or events do contact us!
