read some posts and people said to it was worth it to just take the time to learn it and take the exams. Well in total i tried for all 3 but only studied for technician and general. I did try for "big one" and with no studying on it i was only a few away from a passing score vs the other 2 I "aced". Got to say Couldnt have done it without the resources available on QRZ. Id like to say from what i've learned i can do, combined with what I wanted to do with my radios. Was definitely worth the small investment of time and going out of my way on a saturday to make it happen. So in a few months when they have the next exam i fully plan to "ace" the Amateur Extra. Now to figure out some areas to build my ham shack and hopefully improve my Mobile Radio setups for in the field. so again big thanks to all the folks on QRZ for all the information they've provided to make QRZ what it is. *also the VEC's all were recommending QRZ upon completion.
