    I've been on the air since 10/31/78. the way I learned cw was to listen to the code at 22 wpm @ 7 wpm spacing.

    I have a couple of Android apps that are useful for learning and practicing CW Morse code offline. One is a CW Morse code trainer based on the Koch method and includes RX/TX and CW prosigns and abbreviations; the other a straight and iambic key Morse code practice oscillator that translates into English and CW prosigns in real time as you practice.
