Out of date information: Callsign Re-issued to me

I have a callsign recently issued to me (VK5RY) which has been previously issued to another person. What is the process to have the previous persons details removed/ disassociated with this callsign so people using QRZ.com will have my details correctly displayed?

Yes please. Please change my VK5VRE details to VK5RY. I will add VK5VRE to the database later. VK5RY is my advanced license callsign. VK5VRE is my old standard license callsign. - both still active.

Call sign admin will review this and make the correct changes.
Since the address for both calls are the same, he may decide to
add a notation of the older call in the new call info but if someone inquires on
the old call the new will show.

I'll let you know what he decides.

 

That's fine. I thought I could associate up to 4 call signs against my name in the database. I will let the old callsign lapse later this year. So as long as the VK5RY is registered on your database then all is good.

Older call is associated with the new call and when it expires
you can then list it as a previous call.
Your pass word was not changed.
