Beautifully done, too bad the word for HF, given at 9 minutes, is "dismal."

There is always the potential for Sporadic E (Es) propagation at this time of the year.
We've had some good openings over the past few days.

it's been dismal in Vermont for " I can't remember when the propagation was good ".

20 years ago I was living in apartment and quite unsure of whether I'd have my own station capable of working rare DX after having a stroke.
I'm now living on in a 3br house with two dozen wire antennas in the trees. Not only do I have 5BDXCC, but I also have 160M WAS and DXCC!

I'd rather have some dim sum than a dim sun. YMMV.

Ten meters seems to be defying the forecast. Please see my QRZ log page.

Great report. BTW, the “backside” of the sun is called the “far side.” “Backside” is inaccurate in describing a point on the surface of a ball. And it also makes me blush.

Well done presentation. As a ham I see the need for HF propagation . I like DXing. At solar minimum more important to me is increased Cosmic Ray bombardment. Cosmic rays go right through your house, lead shielding and your body. A wide brim hat and high spf sunscreen offers no protection. One of the effects of Cosmic rays are increased cellular mutation. I.E. Cancer. Much better for us to be in the Goldie Locks middle of sun activity allowing the solar wind to react with our Van Allen belts for more cosmic ray protection. Tom KX2L
