Today, May 13, 2020 marks the 85th anniversary of our local club, the Sedalia Pettis Amateur Radio Klub of Sedalia Missouri. When the club was chartered in 1935, Missouri was in the Ninth call district instead of the Tenth, and the FCC was less than a year old. We have had a 2 meter repeater in operation continuously for over 50 years, not bad for a small club that has had maybe 30 members at any point from what is/was generally a farming community. Having said that, I'm wondering what other clubs have been in existence for 85 years or longer?
