Arrived at around 10 AM, the place was full... Lots of good junk, and some deals... Perhaps 500 people there, maybe 300, it is hard to guess numbers. met a number of old friends, BSed a while, and bought a few items. The best purchase was a Radio Shack Multi-Meter, the one with the data port on it for 30 bucks... Also found a Dow relay for 10 bucks. Picked up a bunch of little items for the upcoming tower install here at NK7Z. Perhaps 50 tables of "stuff" to select from. Some of the old vendors had the same 1970's two way radio stuff, and some had the unusual assortment of really useless stuff... Most however had a good selection of merchandise to chose from. All in all a very good Hamfest... Most items still a bit high in price, but in all fun, and got a few trinkets to play with over the winter... It seems the preppers have discovered Ham Radio as a potential market... Lots of emergency food, and water for sale...
