    I like contests.

Should we exile ppl from a band segment though, or exile them to WARC bands, where there's no propagation, or the upper part of 40m to contend with wide foreign broadcast stations? This is a longstanding issue. Is it possible for we who like to contest, to show consideration for frequencies in use by non-contesters?

If fussing is in your budget, by all means carry on.

Plenty of hams enjoy contests, the big ones only take up a few weekends a year, and there's always somewhere where you can get on the air and not be bothered by contesters. Heck get on 10 or 6 and stir up some activity. Figure out DMR or D-Star. See if anybody is on the local 2-meter repeater or simplex. There's no reason to throw the big switch just because contesters are on your fave part of 20. ;)
