OMARC and The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome are celebrating the 1st century of radio and aviation by holding a S.E.S. on the Aerodrome grounds. All amateur radio operators are welcome to attend, and will be given an admission discount to the grounds, where you can enjoy the show, the museum, and operate at the S.E.S. The Aerodrome is also hosting a radio controlled airplane event all weekend. We will primarily operate on the stated frequencies, but may attempt 15 and 10 meters, conditions permitting. Talk-In on the OMARC 146.805 repeater (negative shift, PL 103.5). Visit the Aerodrome website at oldrhinebeck.org

Just a quick reminder to all Ham Radio Operators local to the Hudson Valley in NY, You are invited to participate in OMARC's Special Event Station at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome September 9th. We will be running 4 rigs, and all are welcome to stop by and operate. Hams who show their FCC license will receive a discount on admission to the Aerodrome grounds, where you can see all the vintage aircraft, check out the museum, and stay for the airshow. Additionally this is the Aerodromes R/C weekend, and many model plane fliers will be there showing off. All around a fun time.

If you can't make it, tune your HF/VHF rigs to the appropriate frequencies, and work us from home. We will be sending fancy QSL cards to all contacts.

We hope to hear from you next Saturday.

One last reminder about the OMARC - Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome SES tomorrow. All are welcome to drop by and operate the station. The discounted admission (with your FCC license) gets you access to the grounds, museum and the air show. You can also hang out and watch the R/C guys fly all day. We'd love to see you there, or work you on hf/vhf.
