    3D2, FIJI (Reminder). Oleh, KD7WPJ/UR5BCP, will be active from Viti Levu
    Island (OC-016) between May 11-16th. Callsign is pending. Activity will
    be on 40-12 meters using CW and SSB, with 100w into dipoles and verticals.

    4L, GEORGIA. Jun, JH4RHF/OE1ZKC, will be active as 4L9S from Georgia
    between May 25th and June 2nd. Activity will be during his spare time
    on various HF bands on CW. QSL via his Austrian callsign OE1ZKC.

    8Q, MALDIVES (Reminder). Operators Nobuaki "Nobu"/JA0JHQ and Tetsuya
    "Ted"/JA7XBG will be active as 8Q7NH and 8Q7XB, respectively, from Embudu
    Island, Maldive Islands (AS-013) between May 7-10th. Activity will be on
    160-6 meters using CW and FT8. QSL 8Q7NH via JA0JHQ direct only or LoTW

    8Q, MALDIVES. Sugi, JI3KDH, will be active as 8Q7SU from Kuda Bandos
    Island, North Male Atoll, Maldive Islands (AS-013), between July 31st
    and August 7th. Activity will be on 20/17/15/12/10 meters using CW.
    Equipment is a TS-50 with 100 watts into a tiny dipole on the tree
    beside the beach. QSL via LoTW and eQSL only.

    A8, LIBERIA (Update). The Italian DXpedition Team will be active from
    Liberia between September 28th and October 11th. They plan to use two
    callsigns: A82X for CW and SSB; A82Z for the Digital modes. Operators
    mentioned are Silvano/I2YSB, Vinicio/IK2CIO, Angelo/IK2CKR, Marcello/
    IK2DIA, Stefano/IK2HKT, Alfeo/I1HJT, Franco/I1FQH, Tony/I2PJA, Gino/
    IK2RZP, Alberto/IZ2XAF and Mac/JA3USA. Activity will be on 160-10 meters

    * SWODXA News (Press Release, date April 30th). Mindi Jones, KC8CKW,
    reports: SWODXA DX DINNER ANNOUNCEMENT -- There is less than ONE
    month until the SouthWest Ohio DX Association (SWODXA) hosts the
    34th annual DXDinner. The dinner, held in conjunction with the 2019
    Dayton Hamvention, will be on Friday, May 17th, at the Marriott Hotel
    in Dayton. Charlie Wooten, NF4A, has been licensed for over 56 years
    and has been a DXer from the start. Charlie has achieved the DXCC
    Honor Roll. He is the current Southeastern Division Representative
    on the ARRL Contest Advisory Committee. He was a referee for the
    WRTC-2006 international team championship held in Brazil in July
    2006, WRTC-2014 New England/USA, and WRTC-2018 Lutherstadt, Germany.
    Yaesu has donated an FT-1200 for the DX Forum and an FT-3000 for the
    DXDinner. Icom has donated an IC-7610. There will be many other prizes
    as well!
    The newest inductee(s) in to the CQ Hall of Fame will be announced,
    The IREF will announce the IOTA Expeditioner of the Year award, and

    Yaesu FT-857 and a ground mounted 1/4 wave vertical. In case of Sporadic E,

    EA8, CANARY ISLANDS. Members of the "GRUPO DX GRAN CANARIA" (GDXGC) will
    be on the air as EA8NL/P from the Templete Lazareto Gando monument on
    Gran Canaria Island (AF-004, DIE S-005, DME 35026, MVGC 0400, WW Loc.
    IL27hw) on May 19th. This monument has never been activated before.
    Operators mentioned are EA8BVX, EA8CLI, EA8RY, EA8NL, EA8DGI, EA8CNR,

    FK, NEW CALEDONIA. Giuseppe, IK2YDJ, is now active as FK/IK2YDJ from
    FK4RD's Noumea station on New Caledonia (OC-032) until May 10th. Activity
    will be holiday style on 40/20 meters using SSB only. QSL via IK2YDJ.

    FW, WALLIS AND FUTUNA ISLANDS (Reminder). After his short operation on
    Fiji (3D2AS), look for Nobby, G0VJG, to be active as FW/G0VJG from Wallis
    Island (OC-054) between May 6-20th. Activity will be on 60-6 meters using
    SSB and FT8. QSL via M0OXO or OQRS.

    HC, ECUADOR. Uwe, DL8UD, will once again be active as HC5M from Cuenca
    during the CQWW DX SSB Contest (October 26-27th) as a Single-Op/All-
    Band/High-Power/Assisted entry. Before and after the contest, Uwe will
    operate on 160-10 meters, including the 30/17/12m bands, using CW and

    HH6, HAITI. By the time you read this, operators Dale/N3BNA and Mark/K3MSB
    are expected to be active as HH6/N3BNA and HH6/K3MSB, respectively, from
    Haiti (NA-096) between May 4-11th. Their activity will be on various HF
    bands including 160 and 60 meters. QSL HH6/N3BNA via KA2AEV. QSL HH6/K3MSB

    HS10, THAILAND (Update/Special Event). Champ, E21EIC, updates OPDX on the
    two special event stations to mark the Coronation of King Vajiralongkorn
    Bodindradebayavarangkun (King Rama X):
    HS10KING - The Radio Amateur Society of Thailand under the Royal Patronage
    of H.M. the King (RAST) will activate this special even station
    between May 1st and July 31st. Activity will be on all bands
    and all modes including satellite operations.

    HS10KING/mm - Will be active between May 3-6th, from the Royal Thai
    Navy helicopter carrier, HTMS Chakri Naruebet (CVH-911),
    in the Gulf of Thailand. Activity will be on all HF bands
    and satellites including the Es'hail 2 / QO-100 satellite.

    INDEXA NEWS.....
    * (Spring Newsletter). The Spring 2019 Issue of the INDEXA Newsletter

    IOTA NEWS..............
    AS-204. (New IOTA/Update/Date Change) Members of the Russian Robinson
    Club (RRC) [operators Vasily/R7AL, Igor/UA3EDQ, Vlad/RK8A and
    Albert/UB9WLJ] will be active as R26RRC from Paramushir Island
    between June 1-7th (not May 2-10th as first announced). Activity
    will be on 40/30/20/17 meters, using VDAs and Vertical antennas
    with 2x PA (600 watts each). QSL via ClubLog's OQRS (strictly
    preferable).

    EU-066. Operators Yuri/R2DY, Pavel/R2DX and Eugen/RW3FB are now active
    as RI1OB from Bolshoi (WW Loc. KP75UA) on Solovetsky Islands
    (RR 02-04, RFF-175, RDA AR-26, RCA RC-089, RAFA ULAS) in the
    White Sea until May 8th. Activity will be on 80-10 meters using
    CW SSB and the Digital modes. Their rigs will be 2x Kenwood
    TS-590 with an Ameritron ALS-500M amp into 2x SteppIr BigIR
    (vertical) + 80m. QSL via R2DX, by the Bureau, direct or
    ClubLog's OQRS.

    EU-095. Members of the IDRE and the Castres DX Gang will once again
    be using the special callsign, TM5FI, from Frioul Island (DIFM
    ME003, DFCF 13-061) between May 7-14th. They plan to have 4
    stations on the air on 80-6 meters using CW, SSB and the Digital
    modes. QSL via F5XX or ClubLog.

    EU-180. Members of the Russian Robinson Club (RRC) will be active as
    R3RRC/6 from Lebyazhi Islands between May 17-20th. Operators
    mentioned are Gen/R3BY, Tom/R6AW, Oleg/R7LP, Max/RU5D and
    Yuri/RX6CM. Activity will be on 40-6 meters using CW and SSB.

    NA-069. Members of the Island Hunters ARC have a new callsign, NA4PI,
    and will be activating Pine Island, Florida (FL033S, NA-069),
    beginning May 11th, from around 2000-2300z. Scott, W1AL, will
    be QRP, so listen carefully on the lower end of the 20m band
    on CW. Scott states, "The callsign should be issued by next
    Friday. If not, I'll be out the following weekend. Hope to
    catch you all! More info and pix will be posted on my individual

    NA-125. Mikhail "Mike", VE7ACN, will be active as VE7ACN/VE2 from
    Grande Basque - Sept-Iles Archipelago between August 3-9th.
    Activity will be holiday style on 80-15 meters (depending on
    the propagation) using mostly CW with some SSB. QSL via Club-
    Log's OQRS (preferred), LoTW, direct or bureau to VE7ACN.

    NA-176. Mikhail "Mike", VE7ACN, will be active as VA7XW/VE2 from Ile
    Quarry - Mingan Archipelago between July 25th and August 1st.
    Activity will be holiday style on 80-15 meters (depending on
    the propagation) using mostly CW with some SSB. QSL via Club-
    Log's OQRS (preferred), LoTW, direct or bureau to VE7ACN. For

    OC-105. Dindo, DU1UD, will again make an attempt to activate this rare
    IOTA. It is the "Most Wanted" in the Philippines. He plans to
    be active as DU1UD/8 from Mapin Island (aka Mapun, formerly
    Cagayan de Sulu, Cagayan de Tawi-Tawi etc) as of Friday, May
    3rd, for approximately 2 weeks. Dindo will be by himself on
    this operation and activity will be limited due to his work
    schedule. Operations will probably be on the IOTA frequencies
    on 40-10 meters CW using an Elecraft K3 with a KPA500 amplifier
    into a VDA and vertical antennas. QSL via M0OXO, direct or by

    QRZ.com (under DU1UD) for further information. ADDED NOTE:
    Please remember this is currently a dangerous part of the
    World and his safety will always be paramount. Bear this in

    SA-082. Operators Jenner/HK1E, Carlos/HK1MUI, Jan/HK1Q and Thierry/
    HK2SM were active this past week from Punta Aguja Island,
    Colombia. QSL via their home callsigns. They plan to return
    towards the end of May using the callsign 5K0PA.

    JW, SVALBARD. Operators Christian/EA3NT and Col/MM0NDX will be active as
    JW/EA3NT and JW/OJ0Y, respectively, from Svalbard (EU-026) between June
    12-16th. Activity will be on various HF bands using CW, SSB and the Digital

    MJ, JERSEY (WWFF Op). Operators Marc/PD7YY, Marcel/PG8M and Lars/PH0NO
    will be active as MJ/PG8M and MJ/PH0NO from Jersey between May 10-12th.
    This is a WWFF expedition activating various nature reserves on the

    OM2019/OM83, SLOVAK REPUBLIC (Special Event). Members of the Slovak
    Amateur Radio Association (SARA) will activate special event stations
    OM83IHWC and OM2019IIHF during the 83rd Ice Hockey World Championship
    (May 10-26th). The stations will be on the air between May 1-31st, on
    various HF and VHF bands. A special award is available. For details,

    OLD QSL COLLECTION (Update). Jean Michel, F6AJA, wants to remind every-
    one to visit the Les Nouvelles DX (LNDX) Web page to see more than
    16,900 old QSL cards in several different albums/galleries. This site
    contains:
    - The ten most wanted DXCC entities (2007 to 2018) with more than
    600 QSLs
    - At least one card for each 62 deleted DXCC countries (more than
    1900+ QSLs)
    - Nearest the totality of current prefixes, disappeared now (more

    May 23-28th. Activity will be on various HF bands and include the CQWW

    Chuuk Islands (OC-011) between May 6-7th. [Last year was V63YAP from Yap
