English page for our international visitors especially our sister clubs VK4WIS, Sunshine Coast Radio Club in Australia and our twin town radio club DL0B of Bünde in Germany. CQ-club – CQ-kerho r.f. is the name of the amateur radio club in Jakobstad. Our club premises are located on the third floor of Tobaksmagasinet next to the bus station in Jakobstad. Our postal address is the same as the visiting address; Jakobsgatan 9, 68600 Jakobstad. There is also our club station, which has the call sign OH6AG. The station can be used by members and any guests if they hold an amateur radio license. As a competition and special call we use OH6G. The club station consists of an HF station (Icom IC-7300) and a VHF/UHF station (Yaesu FT-736) as well as a lot of antennas. There are also our computers and a Linux server that is used, among other things, as APRS iGate. You can read more about APRS on another page. At the moment the club has an APRS digipeater (OH6AG-7) that "lives" with the 70 cm repeater, and an iGate (OH6AG) that transmits position data to the internet. It is located at the club. The club also has an AIS receiver so that ship traffic in the Kvarken can be seen at http://www.marinetraffic.com/
