After trying the phone number of Nye-Viking that shows up on the internet, with no response, and e-mailing them with no response, I am wondering who works on them now? I have had my M-V-B 3KW tuner for years and the meters have gone out. Anyone have spare parts for them? Or who works on them?

Souldn't be a difficult fix - what specifically do you mean by "the meters have gone out"?

Maybe they discovered a common interest and went to a nice restaurant and a movie.....

The Meters are a nice couple. Hope they had fun on their outing.:)

Did you test the meters to see if they move? Most likely the diodes in the metering circuit failed. D-arsenval meters are mighty sturdy unless you took a lightning hit.

Quite a collection of standup comedian wannabes on here. It used to be we were only thought of as geeks and nerds. Time to add funny-guys-in-training to the list. HBO special maybe?

    Who are you referring to?

Some of us have material all ready to go:

Yes, I have all of the above - and more - memorized to the point I can present them with no preparation at all.

I've had my Palstar AT1500BAL metering circuit's 1N914 diodes or similar taken out by a nearby lightning strike in the past.
It shouldn't be too much trouble to troubleshoot and repair the associated internal circuit board.
GL to the owner. Nice tuner...
