    I mounted mine on 3 section of 5' tv mast from Home Depot, leaned it against the eave and attached it to the eave. Easy and no holes in the roof.
    If you want it somewhere in the middle of your home get a tripod and mount that to the roof.
    Putting up a mast against the home is the easiest.

    A 21 foot piece of HD chain link Fence Top Rail works good. And is easy to ground properly.

    I put mine 1 foot in the ground, And attach as high as possible. Ground rod and you are safe to go.

    That antenna is a lightning rod.
