So I just registered my node, KD7WPQ-R with echolink. If I look to see if it's online using another machine, I see it using the EchoLink software, but if I look at the status page and search for nodes in my area it's not listed.
I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of getting it registered correctly so it comes up in the EchoLink Status search.

I did a find KD7WPQ-R and I see it online now, 20 connections available.

Sometimes it takes a little while to show up in the database.

    Have Fun.

Weird, because I just looked here.....
    EchoLink Status
I don't see myself on the list. Could it be that my node is not staying registered?

He has the wrong longitude direction. It should be W not E. It's showing his location in China instead of Idaho.
This is a common mistake that EchoLink -L and -R sysops make.

ahhhh, good call. OK, going to go fix that now!

Edit: So I looked the config file over again and sure enough, had my lon=116 instead of lon=-116
Fixed, so now I'll give it time to populate the servers and see if I finally show up.

Well it showed up pretty quick but the frequency didn't populate properly. Kind of makes it hard for people to use if they don't know the frequency
