There is: auto-sequencing.
I "turn off" any Emotions!
At this night, 75 FT-8 QSO`s, great propagation, S92, 5T5, North America, Japan.... and empty CW & SSB bands!
Tell me, what I will prefer at next night? CW, SSB or FT-8?
Of course FT-8!
I do not like FT8 but I use it because if you want to catch fish you must drop your line where the fish are.
Yeah, but that's only for completing a single contact.
This is true!
Very well said!
For next QSO`s, no need to tune or choose a time!
Just press the button once!
With my eyes closed, ears closed and drowsy!
Automation of such a process is elementary!
If you do not do this, this does not mean that others do not use Robots!
If others use the robot, but you do not use, you spend more time and energy to achieve the same Result!
This is irrational!
Problem - Solution - Result
So.... sooner or later, it will be necessary to recognize the presence of Robots!
Moreover, develop them and arrange FT-8 Contests!
I would like to protect CW & SSB from this all ...
But, if it is ... no problem, we will not give in!
ham radio contesting is just as much about endurance and perseverance than it is radio/antenna/equipment. Taking the human factor out of it really negates the 'contest' part of it...
One hundred percent!
But, if many HAM`s are interested semi-automatic and automatic QSO, then it is not for us to prohibit this... because we can`t Control using of Robots!
This is the same as with the usual contests!
The selection for the WRTC, it is logical to conduct in the WRTC format!
We do not qualified for the World Hockey Championship among the winners of computer games "Hockey"!
Why is this possible in HAM Radio?
In fact, the qualification for the WRTC, it would be necessary to carry out at the regional intramural Contest`s at the time of "IARU Championship"!
What about ERTC(Europian RTC), AsRTC e t.c. as qualifiers for the WRTC?
simple. if a mode can be 100% automated then it should not be permitted in a contest.
