Yes, I should have clarified that better, by "newer releases", I meant the re-releases of the 1968 original, some of the re-releases of that original are copyrighted. For instance, the release by Image Ten is copyright 2016. All of the other subsequent "dead" movies and the 1990 remake of NotLD are copyrighted. (they didn't make the same mistake twice!)
