Any advice on how to repair a 2 mm scratch on my Begali Expedition paddle turret (cover)?

Match the color by mixing acrylics. My guess is that black, white and a tiny bit of bright green should do it.
You may get by leaving out the green. Put a tiny dab of the mixed paint on a cloth and wipe over the scratch.

Or, my best recommendation, take a walk around the block. Get some fresh air. Enjoy a summer evening.
There are bigger scratches on Earth.

The key is ruined and worthless. I will give you $15 and rid you of the problem. :)

Also, one might think of what expeditionary scars might be appropriate for show on a device
with the "Expedition" title. Possibly the scratch is a bit of factory-installed patina? At no
    extra cost of course.

it's like getting the first door ding on your car; one it happens, the impact of getting another is not as jarring...
