RDRC invites to take part in days of activity «New Year's SSTV marathon» which is planned to spend annually during since Monday of last full week of December till December, 31st inclusive. In 2021 «New Year's SSTV marathon» will start at 00:00 UTC on December, 20th and finishs at 23:59 UTC on December, 31st. It is possible to spend radio communications on all bands 160m-10m in strips of frequencies for SSTV. Repeated QSO can be made on different bands. Our Days of Activity is open to SWL. Certificates of activity days «New Year's SSTV marathon» stand out in an electronic kind to all participants who will lead not less than 5 QSO's in modes SSTV and will send the report for all period of activity. All certificates are loading on site AWARDS CENTER OF RDRC. We shall raffle two club souvenirs. The first souvenir - among 5 leaders by quantity unique callsign. The second souvenir - among all RDRC members taken part this marathon and satisfied a rules of the certificate. Reports in an adif-format (.adi) send on an e-mail address 01-10(at)rdrclub.ru in three day term till 23:59 UTC on January, 3th, 2022. The file of the report should be named your callsign (for example RK3DSW.adi). In the letter specify yours a name and a surname. 14.230 was a zoo (as usual) but I was disappointed to not hear anything on the other bands. I was hoping to use SSTV on the other bands for once.
5 January 2022 the results of the activity days «New Year's SSTV marathon» 20-31 Dec 2021 have been summarized and published. Organizers of the activity days received reports from 95 licensed radio amateurs and SWL from 28 regions of Russia and 23 foreign countries from Asia, Europe and Oceania. The best results in Asia - Vladimir Podkorytov RG0S 68 QSOs, in Europe - Vasily Rudomanov RV6F 120 QSOs, in Oceania - Corbin Paterson ZL1CAP 6 QSOs, among SWL - Yuri Snegovoy 4J1001SWL 22 hrd wkd. Two club souvenirs "magnet on a refrigerator" have been raffled: the first souvenir - among 5 leaders by quantity unique callsign, the second souvenir - among all RDRC members taken part this marathon and satisfied a rules of the certificate.
