    Totally fake. The parabolic reflector on the dish is backwards to the signal and it is certainly to small to receive anything lower than microwaves, even if it was pointed in the direction where the feed could receive the radio waves. There was something that someone put out there at one point in time called a "Skybolt" fusion reactor, also totally fake. Even the pictorial doesn't make sense. Just a bunch of garbage but marketing people love stuff like this, just like AI. Too bad that the internet has come to this. :eek:

    team this up with a wide band sending unit , spray the results across a screen and you have a star trek level scanner that can see past walls and give spectrographic signatures to identify objects.

    There's actually a sort of uncertainty principle in signal processing. With an FFT (which modern spectrum analyzers use), you can't have high resolution in both time and frequency. It has to be one or the other, not both. It's called the Gabor limit.

    It leads to the misunderstanding that the "carrier" is constant with AM modulation.
