    Now that they did it in a QRP radio, we know it is do-able. No way do they want to kill the sales of the IC7300 and the IC9700. Give them some time to make more bucks and I bet you will see them come out with a radio competitive with the FT991A

    Well, I agree if you mean "Competitive with the 991a in band coverage." I thought about the Yaesu, but the display killed it for me. :(

    So anyone have any info on a possible release date for this radio? I might be interested as a replacement for my FT-817nd but not enough to get in line with a reservation because I never buy the initial release or release units of ANYTHING. There are always bugs to be sorted. I let others be the pay-for-privilege beta testers. :D
