    will this include LoRaWAN, or is that outside the scope of QRZ?

    That's more aligned to the computer section of the forums, rather than amateur radio, especially with its focus on IoT.

    Until I am told to knock it off, I will discuss this in the Rfinder Pi section. everything I find in the c̶h̶e̶a̶p̶s̶k̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶h̶a̶m̶ affordable experimenter range is designed to interface with RPi or Arduino et al. you won't get far on a budget if you don't do microcontrollers.
