Sad to report Neil's passing. The technical side of Amateur Radio has alwayHe iss was his passion and he enjoyed designing and building many elements of the hobby such as antennas, receivers, transmitters plus instrumentation. Hidden transmitter hunting (foxhunting) was a particularly exciting facit of the hobby; designing and perfecting an 80 meter receiver/antenna system. He often participated in 2 meter foxhunts in the Pacific Northwest or SW British Columbia. He participated and won medal(s) in national contests. His design of voice ID'd two meter "foxes" is well known using PIC controllers. He is survived by his wife Marsha KA7CZS.
