I contacted Xcel Energy about the excessive RFI in my neighborhood. They replied with this the next day:

    Dear Doug Comer,

Thank you for contacting Xcel Energy. We are happy to assist you.

As requested, an order has been issued to check to see if we are interfering with the ham radio. Please allow 5 business days for the order to be completed. Keep in mind that emergencies and outages may take priority. If we have a high volume of these emergency orders pending, the order may take longer to complete.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Your voice matters! We invite you to take a very short survey regarding this email interaction.
If you need further assistance, please reply or call our Customer Contact Center at 1-800-895-4999.

    Sincerely,

    Jonathan G

    Good luck Doug.

Some of my stronger sources of power line noise were a couple miles out on 160 meters! In those cases the power co troubleshooters needed pointers to the offending pole or equipment.

Xcel has been GREAT working with me. I have had them come several times over the years. I usually have the pole located for them, which helps.
