    Propagation is so bad up here my s-meter reads negative.
    Guess I'll do stamp collecting.

    If the S-meter reads negative, that means that the receiver is actually transmitting.

    I think negative SWR means that the transmitter sucks.

    Your magneto reluctance and capacitive directance have switched polarity. Check with a calibrated Pareto fluxmuster.
