I need a little help... What would be a cause of the negative peak being greater then the Positive peak? Phase issue? Or ??

    Phase issue probably.

I’ll roll the leads this afternoon after the wife doie thingie which is in progress currently and report back. Then I’ll reset up the Audio string and see how it sings.

Carrier level to high may cause problems.

Rolling leads did not change the issue

What kind of transmitter? Not being biased deep enough into class C and not enough modulation on screen voltage will both cause the positive peaks to be stunted on a plate modulated rig. If its any form of efficiency modulation, not being loaded correctly to allow for enough headroom will do it too.

    That must be Top Secret.

    I hate when that happens.

Operator error is my guess. o_O

I built an asymmetrical test tone generator for testing this. That IS top secret. (But I do have schematics for a price.
