Please let me know what model mobile and the dimensions of the radio. I just ran out to the shed and found 4.
    For example:

    ADI AR-146 1.5" (tall) x 5.5" (wide) x 6.5" (deep)
    Kenwood TM431A 1.75" x 5.5" x 6.25"
    Pres HR 2510 2.5" x 7.25" x 8" + 1.5" for heat sink
    Cobra 29 CB 2.25" x 7.25" x 8"

Im getting bored and looking for a project box that might be a good "over all-and-inclusive" enclosure, that will be good to accept a varied amount of mobile radios.

    Just looking for numbers please.

Exactly what are you trying to do? Make a go box?

just looking for a bunch of mobile radio dimensions. if I can get some feedback I will assume a certain "physical size" will allow many if not most mobile rigs to fit in a box with pre-built power supply, speakers, meters, etc.

    looking for a homebrew project.

That is why I ask if you were building a go box as they're commonly referred to.

If you go online, to the specific manufacturers' web site, and look for Specifications, you'll find what you need to know. Only currently available items are covered. If you need some for a long ago unit, look on RigPix.

Elsewhere on this site, has to be about 500 threads covering go boxes. I'm just not into e-comm, so I don't keep trivia about the subject.
