Need positive ID on this mobile antenna

    I don’t know what that is, but pretty sure it is not a genuine Texas Bug Catcher. There were several different choices of coils, but I think all of them were larger diameter than that. Henry is building Bug Catchers again, sold via Main Trading Company (MTC) in Paris Texas. There are pictures of the coils and other parts on the MTC website.

    Its not a Texas Bug Catcher; that, I can tell you. I have 2 of them, one complete w/ mast and cap hat, another one, just the coil. Prolly yours is a homebrew. I, too, have made 'em here in the shop. Nice antenna, tho!
