I’ve spent the last couple of weeks pretty much from daylight til dark trying to get an ft8 ND contact for digital WAS on 12m, is there a chance that there’s a station there that’s not buried in snow that could save my sanity? Thanks and 73’s!
I was in the same boat a couple weeks ago if you dont get a sked from the post here try pskreporter It helped me finish was real quick on their screen select 12m on the band drop down, ft8 on the mode drop down, and last 15min on the time drop down give it a try
Thanks, I’ve been using it religiously. I keep 5 tabs open with 5 different stations from North Dakota. That way I can tell when they’re actually transmitting rather than monitoring. Even that hasn’t been much help. I generally go right over the top of them and hit the West Minnesota border and all points east. There’s a station right there on the ND side of the border, but I’ve not seen it do anything but monitor. There’s another that pops in for a couple of minutes, makes a few contacts, and then disappears for a couple of hours, not showing up on any of the other bands. Persistence will pay off eventually, but it’s been a long wait so far.
well good luck, it took a few days to work one, waited several months prior to using the website. And I also experienced same thing with one sporatically on then off again, maybe was working from home
