I have a radio buddy who is an old timer who wants to get rid of his aforementioned Kenwood linear and get it out of his kitchen chair. I don't know anything about it, but that has never stopped me from repairing any machine. The "A meter", the one on the right is bad. I have tried to repair it, but it is just plain bad and can't be fixed. He has made me a deal on a Heathkit VTVM if I will help him find a replacement meter. I can't find one. does anybody know what it is, or anything about what kind of ammeter movement it is, that I might steal the movement from something common and adapt that movement to fit in to the meter unit? Is it a millimeter, a microammeter, or what? Thank you.
