I am looking for a Flange type thrust bearing I can mount inside my aluminum Universal tower to accept a 1 1/2" diameter mast pipe. I have a rotor plate to mount it on, so need one with a flange to allow bolting to it.

I see many installs using 2 1/8" diameter bearings, which will work but prefer a smaller bore diameter for the 1 1/2 tube I am using for a mast. Not really liking the extended bolts thru the bearing into the mast, although I realize it has to be held with something irregardless. I will consider anything you may have that will work.

The rotor will be mounted approx 8 feet or so below the thrust bearing inside the taper tip top section of the tower. The current configuration has the rotor down 10 feet inside the tower. I built this arrangement to allow tipping the tower over for maintenance....and glad I did!

Using a tail twister rotor for this array, but had to send back for repair to Norms after only a year and a half as it quit working, due to some 40-50 mph winds. Hoping this addition of the thrust bearing will take the weight off the rotor and allow it to last longer. Even though this rotor is rated to allow 1000 pounds of direct weight, hoping this fix will help. While I am doing it, I think this is a good thing to do even though it won't reduce the torque on the rotor in high winds.

I am good in QRZ for emails.
