For the past few days I've had to see if I still had an antenna connected.....40 meters sounds like 20.....zero static crashes. But there's genuine signals there! Hmmm......something odd is afoot. Not that i'm complaining, mind you.

I'm not hearing static crashes and not much in the way of signals. CW was busy last night but not much on sSSb. Called several times, no response. Anyone having the same experience?

Although I'm a little late to the party, it does seem quieter on the band.

Just fired up FT8 about an hour ago... not much to see (QTH=Oregon) but the usual suspects.

haha. That must be it. I particularly liked this line..
"Notice that the UFO is a glowing white, but the sun's plasma is a yellow. This tells us the craft is made from a different material than the sun's surface."
    True genius.

40m is in the Summertime Doldrums, but my noise level is low and I hear a lot of activity.

    It's better in winter.

Well I think you all have antenna problems. I have S9 noise level here w/ all the lightning static crashes! I guess my antenna is working.
