As I posted in response to your query on that "other" ham radio site: NCJ is a good, relatively quick (35-40 pages) read for anyone with more than a casual interest in contesting. Articles include profiles/interviews with top contesters, stateside and dx contest operations, propagation, antennas, station building, tips and techniques for everyone from Big Guns to Little Pistols, and detailed results from the North American QSO Party (NAQP) contests. Just a handful of ads. This year, they upgraded from bond-paper-type stock to glossy pages. Front and back inside and outside covers are full color. Inside pages (including photos) are black-and-white. Cover price is $6.00 -- and the $25 domestic 1-year subscription works out to $4.17 per issue. IMHO, well worth the price.
Hi Mel, I think you convinced me to subscribe, hi. Nice to work you on 10m phone during the contest. Tnx, Mike
