National Weather Service Special Event

The National Weather Service and the ARRL will be hosting the NWS Special Event. The purpose of this event is to recognize the contributions that amateur radio operators make to the National Weather Service during severe weather. During the event, amateur radio operators will work from NWS offices across the country. Amateurs are invited to work as many of these special event stations as possible.






The NWS Special event is being promoted as a Special Event and should not be viewed as a contest. Certificates and QSL cards from the NWS Stations will be available.
