If anyone needs W7F, just tell me between now and Monday at 1600 PDT.

Haven't heard any complaints so, Maybe I can assume that everyone that wanted F has already gottem...

I, by myself have made close to 1,000 QSO's and I know my other two teammates have at least that much and probably more... So F should have been pretty easy...

Good job Gary - I shut down a while ago - 900 in the log so far. I fully plan to go over 1000 tomorrow. Adam at last count was at 1500

But hey - considering I missed the first 2 and a half days of the event, I'll be very happy with 1000+ by the time the dust settles

I will be doing several stints of W7O tomorrow - starting at 10:00 AM probably on 15m SSB which has been pretty good in the mornings.

What bands and modes did you have in mind? I also do CW but I have to say the CW response has not been great so I've been focusing on SSB. I am not running FT modes or RTTY, etc. in this event.

Remember there are FOUR of us running that letter. That's as many as we have for ANY of the letters (there are only 8 or so total operators).

I gained a lot of ground tonight. Now I only need G and will be able to chase it most of the day tomorrow. :)

By count on the W7F log on QRZ I have 1,365 Q's "In the box". But my personal log only shows 995. I suspect that the lower number was correct, because for a while there it looked like WSJT-x was putting duplicates into the log, which QRZ logbook was filtering out, but either way, thats not bad! Some dupes might have slipped by...

I do know, that 214 of those were SSB and I did 57 RTTY! The preponderance was obviously FT8, like it or not!

Dave thanks so much for all that you are doing for this event:
    QSL design, publicity, operating etc.

Thanks also for the pic of you with fellow op KO7T and special thanks for having your pant's ankle zippers unzipped so we can see your (not so big) feet as well as the Bigfoot shirt.

UUU are special, keep up the gUUUd works!

In events like this the DX Cluster is your friend.

I see the Bigfoot special event will join the 13 Colonies and RT 66 as the big events of the year going forward.

This event has been a blast! The cryptid theme this close to Halloween makes for an extra fun October. Still hunting for W7I and W7O. Thanks for the great time!

Next year, one of the ops running W7G, W7F, or W7T should be the station we are supposed to work twice, as I heard them all week on multiple bands. Only worked W7O once and it was 2 by 2 with a message of going "QRT until tomorrow nite" which would actually mean after the end of the event???

The folks running this event are just normal people - there are only a handful of us and we can't just sit at the radio all day every day and every night. We also have lives just like you :)

There are four of us working W7O (one is a "rover" who works other letters as well to keep as best of a balance as we can).

Not everyone will ever get get every single call sign in an event like this - just like Route 66 and 13 Colonies. That's what makes it a challenge - TRYING to get all the stations.

And just like Route 66 and 13 Colonies, the Bigfoot event certificate is available to ALL! Even if you only worked one station. There are six stamp locations on the certificate - you will get a "sasquatch stamp" for each letter you work, and the coveted "Full Stomp" stamp for getting all of them. But even if you don't you can still order the certificate.

Anyway, thanks for trying - and I will be on 15m SSB around 21.320 (give or take) starting at 10:00 AM PDT (that's in about 50 minutes) running W7O. But I will NOT be on all day - I will be doing shifts because I also have to go to the bank, the grocery store, and have lunch - just like anyone else :)

I also make an effort at least once per session, when the pileups get heavy, to go "by the numbers" to give all the weaker stations a chance. So be listening for that as well. I can't say for sure it will happen every time - it just depends on the pileups.
