    N9GMU most notably identified himself on the Indiana Airwaves as
    N9 green moldy underwear - passed away on 11/18/2003
    He will be missed.

    Oh that's bad news. Dang.

    I used to chat with Marty on the old Mighty 525 back in the late 80's early 90's. He was a character and a really nice guy. I haven't heard him on the air in a long time, and I often wondered if he was still out there in Terre Haute.

    So long Marty...sorry to see you go.

    Yes he will be missed. Marty had what most of us would describe as a Cartoon Character's voice. He had a mischievious quality about him as well. He liked to get on these rants. If it wasnt over the Cable Company it was over the installation of the V-Chip in TV recievers. Once you met him you never forgot him. I used to work him on 2 meter simplex from Terre Haute to my Qth in Martinsville. He was a heavy smoker and used to playfully describe his cigarettes as coffin nails. They finally got him.
