Regardless - SOMEHOW they hacked your account.

But glad it's all settled now

[Edit AJ4GQ beat me to it by a second :)]

    I wouldn't bet on it.[/QUOTE]
Mozilla is throwing up its own errors on that address.

My message was that even though Google reports it as safe, I wouldn't be willing to risk it.

Yep. I got an email from this person too. He offered an expert amplifier. And even sent pictures...
Luckily Paypal didn't let me send the money to him. I was convinced it was N7ESU because of the complications of activating the "real ID" for myself (or whatever it's called) and when his email address was not on QRZ, I asked why and he simply added it to the QRZ Profile. The same address he used to contact me was then added to the profile. Seemed Legit.

Now I'm being contacted by ON3BM (supposedly) and asked to click on a link. Not sure if I should post it here. But I have a feeling it's the same guy.

    Buyer beware, I guess.....

That's not the email on his profile.

Not anymore. It was back then. And when I was contacted by fake-n7esu for the first time, it took only minutes for the guy to add that address to the qrz profile. I know this is history by now.

Meanwhile N7ESU Does Not Participate in the QRZ Identity Verified Program

Not a requirement though certainly a good idea, IMO.
