    his Dad being a "Ham".

Born in Schenec-tady, he was the son of the late Charles and Janet Messitt Wright. He was raised in Schenectady and then moved to Albany, where he lived for most of his life.

Jack was a previous member of the local amateur radio club and a former member of the Troy Elks. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and especially loved spending time with his family. Jack was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Jack is the beloved husband of nearly 61 years to Rose M. Campione Wright.
