One of the finest businessmen and hams in QRP radio is SK as of February 17th.
Marshall Emm was the man behind the current Oak Hills Research brand of QRP rigs and accessories.
I had many FB dealings with Marshall, he was quite friendly and hard to go QRT with on the phone...
Last year I had a strange premonition to ask him to autograph the bottom of the OHR-80m rig I was having him build for me. He of course obliged...
Marshall Emm, OHR and Morse Express will be sorely missed by this ham...

So sorry to hear. Marshall was an icon in the world of CW and was always willing to answer questions with detailed answers. He will be sorely missed. K8RXB

Damn, this is sad news. I corresponded with Marshall a few times during a couple OHR builds, he was always ready to help and just a really nice human being.

He was one of a kind. Always ready to visit at length after doing business on the telephone...

Thank you for the update, Lane. I just spoke with him in the fall and he was a wonderful source of information. We had a handful of ragchews over the phone and he told some great stories. He will be missed.
