My little brother died on 6 December, 2002, at the age of 52.
Ross was not a Ham but he was around it his whole life. My father got his 1st ticket in '29 and I got on the air in '55. I was 6 years old when my mother brought him home from the hospital. He was a newborn on 4 October,1950.
His crib was set up in my father's radio room. So Ross slept next to a National NC 57 receiver and an old Clough Brengle transmitter.
Ross was a good, decent, hard working, honest man, who believed in traditional family values, and left behind a wonderful wife of almost 30 years and four kids.
I sure miss my little brother.
