The logging program KM7W is using in the photo is Win-Test. (or one of it's variants) Interesting choice. Either KM7W is really, really old school or he is one of the probably 17 contesters in the USA who use Win-Test versus N1MM, N3FJP, Writelog etc. The Europeans love Win-Test (& it's variants) but it has never caught on in North America...............Regardless, congrats to KM7W!!!

Ya, DXLog. That is why I included the line, "or one of it's variants". DXLog is just like Win-Test or McDonald's vs. Burger King. At the end of the day they both sell hamburgers. :)

See you this weekend in CQWW CW.

Last time I checked, I think W1SJ was still using WinTest or something equally old-school.

Sometimes expert contesters prefer older solutions.

I wish the top contest logging programs were truly multiplatform, though, instead of Windows-only.

Imagine if N1MM+ committed to supporting the software on Linux/WINE. It already more or less works there, so it would just be a matter of periodic testing and occasional minor bug fixes when something breaks.

Now imagine a Field Day operation where all the logging is done on Raspberry Pis running Linux and N1MM+...

geez....I gotta get my log in.....it's on my laptop....bummed a k2/10 from my buddy for the contest....will hafta file as LP, due to 7 to 10.5 watts out....just under a hundred Q's but got a couple more antennas adjusted/tweaked....and my 10M mobile whip w/3 radials, sure did the trick with not much power....I heard zone 39 (3b8m) and called him for a half hour....no go...missed zone 40 as well....got 30+ zones though, but no q's on 80 or 160 (the borrowed k2, ain't got 160, and my coax wasn't hooked up to the 80 wire)...it would have been hard to do the contest with the old swan, and Manual T/R switching....sold the 7700 a few weeks back (REGRETFULLY), but I did gain an old FT-101E, and the Ext. VFO, and matching speaker....better get that checked out...my 130, and 850 both sick, and k1 is off gettin' fixed...not ready for contest season, wanna be prime time player....hi hi....
