As many of you know, the Mobile (Alabama) Hamfest has a long history, having been held since at least the end of WWII (our club, the MARC, has been around since 1933, but pre-war records are sketchy). Like most events, it's had its ups and downs, but the last five years we've worked hard to bring back its former glory. I believe we've accomplished that, even in the face of the covid years. Next phase? We will be at a new and better home this year, the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds, "the Grounds," in Mobile. This is a fine facility which has the potential to accommodate us no matter how we grow. The details... Plans and preparations are moving ahead smartly, folk. Judging by what happened last year, you would be wise to purchase your tables NOW. We have enough space at the fairgrounds to accomodate all...but....do you really want a table in a corner next to the fricking restrooms? I didn't think so! You can buy tables for 10 bucks a throw, but what I suggest is our $30 Package Deal (below). It's proved to be VERY popular after we brought it back for this year's 'fest...and that's a reason tables are going fast!
