The guys and gals in España have kindly brought MMSSTV (by Mako) up into the 21st century for the newer LCD's/Screens , also other added niceties like those small window box's that are now re-sizable . Not in english yet but it is a start . http://radiogalena.es/yoniq/ 73 .
One of the new additions is a progress bar now under the main window rx/tx pane . https://groups.io/g/MMSSTV/topics is a group also 73 . If one is going to try the different version , make a new folder and install it in that , then it won't upset the already installed MMSSTV , i then moved over the stock/history/saves folders into the created yoniq folder from mmsstv . I use c:\ham\yoniq , for mmsstv its c:\ham\mmsstv , then in the yoniq config file i change to these and they are now both separate entities . [Dir] HistoryFormat=0 History=C:\HAM\YONIQ\MMSSTV\History\ StockFormat=0 Stock=C:\HAM\YONIQ\MMSSTV\Stock\ RecSound=C:\Ham\YONIQ\MMSSTV\ Bitmap=C:\HAM\YONIQ\MMSSTV\Stock\ SaveBitmap=C:\Ham\YONIQ\MMSSTV\ Template=C:\Ham\YONIQ\MMSSTV\Plantillas\ AutoSaveDir=C:\HAM\YONIQ\MMSSTV\SAVES AutoSave=1 AutoSaveTime=1 AutoSaveFormat=1 ExtLog=C:\Ham\YONIQ\MMSSTV\ pss- Plantillas means Template going by the interweb
Can guess the install screens in Spanish. Then after finishing the install, you can change the Spanish default settings to English after install. Opciones -> Configurar MMSTV Misc Tab Engles button. OK button. Cowan N5QDH
looks very good !! eventually found the english button (note to self... learn Spanish during the lock-down)
Notice when I run Yoniq I get a notification stating "YONIQ is using your microphone". How to configure to prevent Yoniq from using the microphone?
Also, I am obviously missing something, as I don't see much different than the original MMSSTV. Why use Yoniq?
