A Tribute To Our Silent Keys

A golden vase of Blossoms sweet,
their Calls and voices we loved to greet,
still lingers in our memories a forty over nine,
of QSO's past, and all the good times.
Some whose faces went unseen, but clearly known;
friendships carved in stone!
 
Some say they are Silent Keys,
but somehow that seems final to me.
They have just checked in early; you see,
and it's not yet time to ID.
In that great Net of our Lord we're told,
Alpha through Zulu, He'll call the roll.
Checking in we'll hear their Calls,
and familiar voices saying "Good morning, all,
from..."

I just hope that all of the other sick friends that we have will get better soon!

I am especially concerned about Sam's boy Nick - does not sound good.

Anyway, nice poetry and hope to hear you on the air this weekend (I'm working tonight and likely won't be in until 12:30AM or so - Imight be on in the morning but it's doubtful).
