I'd like to thank all of the particpants of our newest program called "The New Guy Net". This includes our "Elmer's" and our host MR. Radio, KE7FAY, Ken. The first edition was a VERY big success!
We had a peak of 41 connections to our server *MISSLYNK* node# 27 2345, almost doubling our regular 24/7 amount of 22-27 RF stations connected.

We were aiming for a net on the 2nd Thursday of every month, but given the popularity the event showed with little publicity, I think maybe twice monthly is a more realistic schedule.
This net is for the newly licensed hams and long time hams, as we cover everything from basic electronics to part 97 issues, CW and digital communications. Something for EVERYONE! For those know-it-all's, we need you as a volunteer Elmer!

We also run AR NEWSLINE, Connect to a Traders Net and will soon be running ARRL's Audio News!

Today, Saturday 2/11/2006, we reinstate our General Check-in net at 4:30 pm MTN STD time, 6:30 pm Eastern time.

Please join our Yahoo group so you can keep abreast of our cool events. Go to our web site http://www.missinglynksystem.com or cut/copy and paste this lynk to see our Yahoo web site: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheMissingLynkSystem/.

Enjoy the amateur radio service and only be serious about electronic theory and part 97. The rest is all FUN!
