Many hams now utilize combination vhf/uhf transceivers. As it comes from the factory the subject amplifier will NOT pass 70cm signals through even in the bypass (OFF) position. To cure this problem, simply remove the orange-colored capacitor located on the Transmitter input of the amplifier between center conductor and ground. That's it! You will now be able to "pass through" your 70 cm signals. This modification works and is factory authorized.
