I need to find replacement cords for my Radio Shack 2 meter radios. Any ideas where I can get 8 conductor coiled cords that are 3/16 inch or less in diameter for these mics? All I can find seem to be just slightly smaller diameter than my wrist.

Looks like the cords used on Icom HM-103 mics will work. It is about 3/16 in diameter, and can be fitted into the RJ-45 connector needed for the HTX-242. Any reasonable source for these cords?

Found a cord on ebay that looks like it will work. Ordered one, but have not wired it up yet. Looks a lot like the cord used on teh Icom HM-103.

Wired the replacement cord up for the HTX-252, and it works great. was able to fit the cord in the original fittings at the mic, and the 8 pin plug. Looks like it came from the factory as new!
