I have a MFJ 1788 magnetic loop antenna.

One of the four internal mounting nuts has broken free. This seems to be a common problem because they are press fitted. Image attached.

Yes, they should have been spot welded at the factory.

Can someone share a procedure that will solve this problem; pictures will help.

    THANK YOU!

The photo you posted is a bit small, but I think what I'm seeing is called a "Rivet Nut", also known as products called "RivNut" or "NutSert", or similar, depending on which company you're buying from.

They install just like a blind rivet, but with at special tool that threads down the middle, and then is drawn upward to compress the rivet portion, crushing around the sheet metal, and securing the threaded portion in place. (A blind rivet uses a sacrificial 'nail' to compress the body.)

Here's a link to one brand of Rivet Nuts, called Marson.

There are other brands, for sure, and even a few sets you can buy at Harbor Freight Tools.

That's my best guess. I hope this helps!
