Let me vouch for that event. It's always a good one. Last year I picked up an Icom IC-2AT and a Radio Shack scanner for a new elderly lady ham. And a Heathkit signal Generator for myself $1.75! And it works quite well, even if the dial calibration is rather "notional.". Sure hope it does not rain, though. The WX forecast is not too promising.
