Yes, that is correct. The log file name is supposed to have the park number in it, and the new online upload system will search the file data for a valid POTA park number. So maybe MySig/MySigInfo will be useful in the file. They are still working on it, they will have plenty of notes on how to use it Only the park Activator submits a log. Park Hunters get credit for parks when they are in Activators logs. Glenn AE0Q
So the only person who submits the log is the activator. Hunters get credit from the activators log. You can find all the park info on pota.app. There is a resources tab on the left side that has a great PDF on how to hunt as well as a youtube video on it. https://pota.app/#/resources
If you go to https://pota.app/#/parklist there is a list, or go to https://pota.app/#/map and there is a map (though the yellow dots indicate the general location of the park, not a particular spot one must activate from).
There is no mention of using AM only on a specific part of that band. Plus SSB is way more efficient. Before posting “Look at the Band Plan”. Maybe look at it yourself first.
Ahh, I belay my last comment. It appears that ARRL.org does indeed specify AM on that band but the common band plans we print out do not include that information.
All the POTA'S I've worked were either on 12m or 17m SSB... Will be lookingf on 10m as things improve !
