    Thanks for all the help! I am going to start putting the antenna together this weekend.
    I am borrowing an MFJ antenna analyzer -- priceless piece of equipment !

    You mention your plot is 50 ft wide, how high will your antenna be above earth ? If its going to be at 25 ft, make the total length of the wire 90 ft and let the ends hang down vertically. make the open wire feeder as long as required to a 4:1 balun then into your SWR power meter and the TX. This will resonate 20 metres better and you can use all bands from 10 to 80
    Should you have any doubt about the efficiency of this wire length, when the 30 metre band was better a couple of years ago I got into VK using 25 watts of PSK. You won't need an antenna analyser, just a good ATU
